I lease a 13hh Australian riding pony who is fleabitten grey and at the moment i’m jumping her about 65cm and i plan to go much higher. I am also doing a bit of cross country soon as well. Should I use bell boots on the front legs or all four legs for jumping and cross country?

My horse has hair missing on the bottom of all four legs?

We board our 4 horses at a high quility stable. They are only in stalls on weekends(because of the high number of showers) and at night. My moms horse has a small patch of hair missing from right above his hoove. He doesnt show any type of pain from it. Does anyone know what this could be from?
